Most people don’t get to do what they love for a living but I am one of the lucky few. I get to make beautiful gowns and costumes everyday. I have had the pleasure of creating dreams, everything from Cinderella to a dragon slaying fairy. Here are a few of those dreams. My version of some of my favorite fairytale characters.

The Blue House Studio is the brainchild of professional artist Stacey Pilkington-Smith. She offers classes for all ranges of students. Also in the studio is her personal artist work space. Her hilarity and wit coupled with unbelievable talent has created some of the most amazing works of art! Keep your eyes open if you’re in the area, you might get lucky enough to see one of her beautiful murals.

If you are in need of some hip clothes, art or music, then Bottega Boutique is the place to visit. Located in the heart of downtown Hickory, NC, you will find two floors of amazing treasures.
